The groups are all 5-shot at 100 yards.

The reason .223 WSSM brass tends to crack at the necks sooner than most other rounds is its relatively thick, so needs to be annealed more frequently.


Thanks for the post John. I have your Big Book of Gun Gack and this is what is listed in there. The model 70 I'm considering has a 26 inch barrel and was hoping someone with length tube would respond. I have several 22-250's and Swifts and will pass on this WSSM if it is not a lot faster. I have a Giaurd annealer so that isn't an issue.

I like to watch Prairie Dogs explode.
