Has anyone developed loads for 130gr and 160gr bullets using RL-33 powder in the 264WM and what are the results? Also any other bullet weights. I finally found a store with a supply of the RL-33 so need a starting point for it. Thanks
72 grains with a 139 Scenar is my load.
When working with unknown components, start low and work up as normal. It's not really that tough.
I thought about trying RL 33 but I don't like to try powders when the manufacturer does not have loads tested for that powder and cartridge.
If you own a .264 Winchester Magnum and would like it to perform to its capability, you just signed up to be your own ballistician whether you know it or not.
