This really is an interesting situation. I don't think I've ever heard of anything like it before.
A District Attorney in small town America goes on a vendetta against the Sheriff's Dept. and inhibits their ability to do their job to such an extent that the crime rates surges by 600% in 5 years.
Drawing pay to destroy a community. What a concept!
