Feral Horses - the first time we've ever seen a mare without an accompanying stallion.
Turns out they took about a 1000 out of the region last fall, and hubby must have been captured. Kid looks a little rough but was high spirited. Mom appears to be in good shape.


Snipe do exist


Killdeer


and since we've had a focus on bucks, a switch to a thirsty doe.


Several other songbirds and some vultures, but after raising 5 or 6 young over the summer, they all looked pretty worn out and ratty.
