I picked up the AR-7 a few years ago at Fleet Farm about 5 years ago for about $180. It lives in my truck full time, along with a few hundred rounds of .22. It is nice to have it handy in my daily driver.
I have potted some grouse along the road and up in trees with it. The sighting is weird and takes a little getting used to. I have probably shot 200 rounds through it with nothing but blazers without a jam.
