Next week, I leave for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for a Black bear hunt.....I'll be carrying my Ruger #1SC in .45-70 along with a S&W 25 in .45 Colt. Going with Old school calibers on this last bear hunt ........... the .45 Colt...... The Ruger 1SC I'm stuffing the action with 405 gr. Remington SP's over a healthy charge of Reloader7. The .45 Colt is slinging 250 Hornady XTP HP's over a fair charge of 2400.....either should do the job nicely at bait stand range! ~Molɔ̀ːn Labé Skýla~
