I ordered one a couple of years ago and agree that it's a good scope but returned it as I needed more eye relief.

The EFR has more eye relief than the RV9 but I'll take the VX1 2-7x33 for a rimfire hunting scope over the Weaver RV9 or the Leupold EFR. It's small enough for most rimfires, about the same price as the RV9 and half the price of the EFR. For my eyes it's got plenty good enough glass, better eye relief than the rimfire scopes and I can get on target with it faster. YMMV.
