Rifle is my old standby and very mundane...1903A3 Springfield 30-06, excellent shooting handloads which pattern at 0.75" or less at 100yds. Hornady 165gr SST, 51.0 grs H4895. Bought that rifle through the DCM in the sixties for $10.00 and $2.50 shipping. New and unissued. Kind of wish I had kept it that way! But it is a great shooter and has taken piles of deer, antelope and elk.
