Several things really stand out in this game.

1- BSU, I have to admit begrudgingly, can play with the BCS boys.

2- The "hook and ladder" play worked to perfection and was a thing of beauty, but most of all, looked like a clean play, practiced and run not in panic mode but with the confidence it would work.

3- Hats off to the BSU coach and players...they played with confidence...and some, like me, concluded that when OU got that interception return that BSU would fold up their tent and go home, but instead they took it as a challenge and got up off the mat like a heavy-weight prize fighter and kept slugging.

4- Most important...their coach...nuts the size of Texas...choosing to go for 2 and the win, and another beautiful play call to get it. If he wants a "big time job" I think he'll likely be getting some phone calls in the coming weeks.

Stoops and Co. looked like they couldn't believe this "WAC pretender" wouldn't stay down when knocked down...they were in total shock!
