it is heavier than i want to hunt with, the stock is too nice so i would have $280 in a b&c to put on it, and would have to get a different scope. i want a lighter rifle. i already have a 270 to lug around close. i need something lighter for when i get farther away. so while hunting with this is an option, it will be cheaper and easier to get something else. this is a safe queen and like I say i dont think it has ever been shot.
