Thanks Wabigoon. I've heard of guys doing that with crushed potato chips too. Particularly salt & vinegar.

I usually use the following:

2 cups Bisquick
1 cup flour
1/2 T Black Pepper
1/2 T Cayenne Pepper
1/2 T Onion Powder
1/2 T Italian Seasoning
1 T Garlic Powder
1 T Paprika
1 T fine salt

Mix ingredients in an air tight container. When ready to use, put some in a Ziploc bag. Add water moistened fillets and shake to coat. Fry in oil at 340-350 F on each side.

Mix usually makes enough for 2-3 feeds for my immediate family.
