I asked my buddy Dave Schlessinger to make me another knife. I wanted an all around camp knife. Food prep, wood work, cutting cordage, cleaning fish. He came up with this one. 5 inch blade, 1095 steel at 61 RC. Stock was .118 thick. He blued it for me. The handle is his own blue Jean Micarta. Work is flawless.
He dropped the knife off today. Hair popping sharp, no irregularities. He made the sheath as well. I felt the $125 was a fair price for such a nice knife.
