I agree that the Fed. HW #6s will probably work but there will probably be a diminished density pattern. I shot turkeys for years with a 12ga and #6s with several different guns and tubes but the pattern density was never anything like the 20ga Fed HW #7s. One pattern board made me a believer. Each succeeding board confirmed what I first saw.
