The Illinois Firearms Manufacturer Association of which both RRA and SA are member of were offered exemptions to a licensing bill requiring dealer licensing at the state level if they did not oppose the legislation. By all accounts and supporting documents yet released neither SA or RRA approved of the actions of the IFMA and in f at quickly denounced such publicly
