With newer powder, I think I would only use 40 grains under a 100 Nosler Partition and never worry about my load choice. WW brass, BR2 primed.

He also gave some loading data for the 7X57 with IMR 4350 and a 140 grain bullet many years ago. It was several grains past the max load listed in every reloading manual that I had. I went ahead and loaded it as he said, and the load shot fine with no signs of pressure, but was the most recoiling 7X57 load I've ever fired.
