I had one of the pre safety Marlins. Loved the look and the way it handled but mine never shot that well with anything. About 3 - 3.5" for 3 shots at 100 was the best it could ever do with anything. Not even close to the accuracy of my 30-30 and .35 Rem. Marlins or my Win. 94 .30-30 so I sold it.
