Jeff, that's quite the rare and interesting rifle. How does the butt plate compare to the one pictured?
IIRC, it looks identical. The 250+/- pre-WW2 rifles are stored in a bank vault in NH and I only visit them to do a physical inventory and inspection every couple of years.
