It is, of course not the weapons, but the deranged people that kill. Any ideas of how to head off the killers?
Likely not possible. A utopian, irrational idea itself. It certainly can't be done while we retain any civil liberties granted under the constitution. I don't think that's a worthwhile tradeoff. I think we're going to have to accept that a level of risk accompanies those freedoms we hold dearest.
