in my 32 Special I used 38.5gr of LeverEvolution Using the 165 Hornady new brass and Winchester WLR primers. Got 2274fps from a 20" barrel
Load was in 9th Edition of Hornady manuel. I would not increase that load.. Same manuel shows 37.0gr for 30/30 max. approach with caution.
Maybe you have a oversive chamber?
guntruck50, Is the 37 grain LeverEvolution loading in the 30-30 with the 160 grain FTX bullet? Hodgdon shows 35.5 as max with the 160 grain ftx bullet. As well as that load being printed on the LeverEvolution canisters. Somewhat confusing.
