Lost a friend this past week, haven't seen him in 43 years as he was leading the unit move to Italy when I ETS'd and the last time I saw him was a few weeks prior, made a NATO jump together just a few months before that. Some how are paths crossed this last year and we were able to carry on a few conversations over the phone, he had been fighting some serious illnesses for quite a few years and I guess it finally caught up with him, he was a fighter!
Rest in Peace MSG Francis J. Davies... Unit will be together again!
