How carefully do you watch the wind when chuck hunting? Couldn't find anything on it today on the www, but seem to remember from way back when reading that they would be spooked if they got a whiff of humanity.

The reason I ask is that this morning I was trying to get lined on one at about 200 yards when suddenly the wind switched and blew straight from me to my intended victim. Little bugger just vanished, and stayed gone. It's possible I was just spotted, but I was wearing camo and behind a fence and some bittersweet vines.

Whatyathink!

What fresh Hell is this?
