Selling my Echols Legend stock:

This is posted here and in the "classifieds" I will honor the earliest time stamp with an "I'll take it".

Fits LH Winchester Model 70 long action, standard sporter barrel contour
EDGE fill
Aluminum Pillars and Glass bedded(tang, lug and first 2" of barrel channel).
Finished at 14" LOP
Pachmayr Decelerator pad(sporting clays). Nice pad that has a hard polymer top edge that won't snag on clothing when shouldering the rifle.
Bottom metal inlet is for PT&G one piece(old style...not Oberndorf).

Painted by McMillan in Black w/gray speckling(paint still looks brand new)

Bolt handle cutout is for a custom mauser bolt handle that I had Mark Penrod install on my rifle. Penrod bolt handle is almost straight so the lower half of the bolt cutout would need to be modified slightly to accommodate the swept back angle of a standard model 70 handle (Nothing that couldn't be modified in short order and made to look good with a dremel tool and possibly a little black Acra glas bedding epoxy and touch up paint).
Having said that, I'm offering it at a deep discount to somebody who knows how to use a dremel with a little finesse and wants the best light weight stock ever made for a Win. 70.

$350, shipped

Thanks,

Leftybolt

PS: Pics are of the stock on my rifle. "Stock only" is for sale
