Probably just me - but part of every cleaning a 10/22 (or most other rimfires) entails complete strip of the bolt for scrub, blow dry and reassemble.. Main reason is simply because 22rf ammo is just plain dirty compared to the rest..

Glad you cleaned it out. All should be good; just don't wait another 20 to revisit them parts... laugh laugh
