My boys have really gottten into 22 shooting after Boy Scout camp. I came across a Remington 40x 22 the other day and have an unertl scope(varmint 12x) that I want to put on it. The problem is finding scope based. I called champion shooters and the guys who know what I need are at camp perry the whole month. I've seen varying heights given. The 40x is a usmc gun so std barrell. I had a few questions I hoped someone here could answer.
1) does anyone know the heights I need for the receiver and barrel mounts?
2) has anyone used Steve Earle mounts?
