You're right on the fold down OEM Winchester rear. I now remember, that one ended up on a .404J build, the NECG on this one. The fold down worked well on the .404J; it had an NECG peep. Otherwise, I like this one better.

I slept a few times since then... blush

Here's a better view of the fiberoptic front sight, Universal ramp, windowed hood.

The 1.75-6 is a great scope, have one on another rifle.

Have heard good reports on the Nikon Safari, never handled one. Let us know how you like it.
