OP GuyM Campfire Tracker G Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 5,173 Washington - dry side	Black bear season opens here in Washington, on August 1st. My son and I went to the range today for some practice. He's using the .30-30 Glenfield (Marlin) with a little 2.5x Leupold and 170 gr soft point ammo. Anticipating closer range shooting than we normally experience, we practiced only at 20 and 100 yards. What a great way to spend the morning! Looking forward to it! Guy
