For the record, good riddance. I was a fan and supporter of Freeze but knowing now what he has done, I am glad he will no longer be a part of OM. And if it turns out the AD knew about this beforehand and tried to hide it, he should be gone too.
Winning is nice and all but it isn't everything, which is the biggest problem in all of sports. People would rather sell their soul to call their team winners than to have integrity. I would rather live with mediocrity than support a school who turns a blind eye to these things. Whether it seems fair or not, head coaches have to be held to a higher standard. They're not only coaches but mentors and in some cases surrogate fathers to the young men on these teams.
