I just finished "The Day After Roswell" by retired Col. Philip J. Corso (with William Birnes). I remember when it came out and was on bookshelves back in 1997 and thought to myself, 'Oh, another UFO book'. End of interest.

But, for some reason I decided to read it and bought it in paperback. Boy, was my opinion wrong!!

If this is to be believed, there was a Roswell UFO. There were little EBE's (extraterrestrial biologic entities) and the saucer was mined for technology. Integrated circuits on silicon wafers. Transistors. Lasers. Particle beam weapons, although Tesla is given credit also. And more. Like Army plans for a moon base. Cooperation with the Soviets over a mutual threat. SDI--"Star Wars". And so on. Particularly interesting was the Army's opinion of the Intelligence Services.

A very interesting book to read. It could use a table of contents but at 370+ pages now, a table of contents would add a lot of volume to a fairly technical book.

Worth the read.
