The plastic stocks of the stainless Hawkeyes, should also work. One of these from a 338 Win should fit fine, and I assume one off a 300 win would also. I have a couple of these as take-offs, and I am considering putting on a couple of additional Alaskans that I have. These appear to be pretty stiff stocks. I certainly like their looks better than the Hogue. The Hogue is definitely functional, though bulky to me.
