It's possible that ejected rounds may hit the scope tube on low mounted scopes, many times it hits the windage turret.
If the scope is a straight duplex, you can always rotate it CCW and put the windage for elevation, and the elevation for a left sided windage.
Just a heads up from one who knows...
Exactly right. Often many think there is an ejection problem. The 788 throws empties straight up. My old B&L 2x7 allows the shells to eject, though they hit the turret some. Good advice from RWE.
