I wish that old beauty was in my safe. Neat rifles from a time when the gun makers were just learning what a bolt action should look like and what they should have in way of amenities. These are some of the most natural pointing rifles I have ever used. With the drop of the stock, the sights just naturally align when raised. The great thing about your rifle is the fact it has not been cut for recoil pad or that god awful Lyman 48 sight. Those were the ruination of many a fine rifle. Almost as bad as a G&H side mount. This rifle has character in spades.
