Anchorage police have arrested Anthony Michael Pisano in connection with Tuesday's triple homicide at The Bullion Brothers shop in Spenard.

"The preliminary investigation found the suspect started a fight with the owner for unknown reasons, pulled out a gun and shot the owner multiple times," police said Wednesday morning.

Pisano, 43, then shot two other men before fleeing, police said. Pisano faces three counts of first-degree murder.

Police identified the victims as Steven Cook, 31, co-owner of The Bullion Brothers, Kenneth Hartman, 48, and Daniel McCreadie, 31.

Officers received a call about the shooting shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Upon arrival, they found a dead man lying in the doorway to the gold and silver shop. Two other victims of the shooting were found elsewhere in the building, one of them still alive, police said. The surviving victim was taken to a hospital but died there of his injuries.

As officers were headed to the Jewel Lake area to search for the suspect, Pisano called police to turn himself in, the statement said. Police said on Tuesday morning they took Pisano into custody near Dimond Boulevard and Minnesota Drive. Police were headed to the area after receiving a tip about Pisano and where he was headed.

A person named Anthony Michael Pisano, 43, is listed as the owner of H&G Tactical Solutions LLC, providing firearms instruction and tactical training at a private training complex in Anchorage, according to a search of public records. The business's Facebook page includes multiple photos of tactical weapons and people target training.

"Improving personal security and situational awareness in an ever changing world," the Facebook page says.

Pisano's LinkedIn page says he is a retired paratrooper from the U.S. Army.
