Thanks fellas, I'm still beaming today! He used my Tikka .300 wm using 180gr Federal Fusions. I'll tell you that I was a bit apprehensive about letting him take a shot at that distance. He had a real steady rest and kept reassuring me though that the first dot was dead on and not moving. I doubt he'll be asking me to shoot my gun at the range as it has a nasty sharp recoil (which he mentioned after the shot) but he did say he'd use it again if need be.
Thanks for the idea about sending the pic to ADF&G. I'll have to find out when they start accepting photos. He'd love that!
