I'm a huge Grendel/.264 LBC fan. Decided to try the 6.8 SPC for the first time, picked up a ARP (AR Performance) 6.8 SPC scout profile barrel. Threw it all together the other morning and hit the range to break the barrel in. Shot several of the Hornady factory ammo offerings at 300 yards for the break in. I'm waiting on the Redding bushing dies to be delivered before I can handload.

I had the furniture Cerakoted in Barret Brown heat cure.

300 yards with the factory Hornady 120 SST loads.

300 yards with the Hornady factory Match 110gr BTHP load. Shows some real promise, looking forward to handload if for it.

Ordered in another ARP barrel and I started assembling the upper this evening. This barrel is a 16" SIX5. Which is the 6.8 SPC necked down to 6.5! Way cool, I can use the same set of dies just a different bushing.

All the best things in life, live on the other side off fear.

The true eye sees not the despair of its victims, only the elegance of equilibrium. It's a demonstration of superior judgment.
