How many bullets/rounds do you carry in the woods with you? Just to be clear, talking elk hunting here. If I carried zero with me the last few years, I'd have been OK. But always seems like I end up with 20+ in my pack by the end of the season. I guess if I have to take on foreign invaders in some Red Dawn scenario, I'm prepared. This year, I'm think maybe three mags total or 12.
My buddy carried 1 mag full (3+1) until a few years ago when he ran out of ammo shooting at a bull 406 yards away.
