Lol.....that reminds me of the time headed to the north slope for work.....after our week long Artic training we were sitting in the anchorage air port waiting on a plane....there was a firewatch gal from LA ...she was black to boot....all through training her biggest concern was the wildlife ...ya see she had never been out of LA...she was probably mid 40 s...the crew knew this and her fright of critters...someone casually asked what time of year the snow snakes come out....Synthia went ballistic ...she wasn't no way getting on that plane...And of corse the guys fed on that and started making up stories how they chase you till you fall down in the snow and on and on... Took me 2 hrs to convince here there were no such thin...she was in tears at one point..but we finally got her aboard...she turned out to be real cool gal..she took a ton of crap from the crew that whole job....you should have seen her when they had a polar bear warning in the safety meeting...but truthfully I thing she was more afraid of the Artic snow snake....
