The Monarch 7s are dang good glass for under your budget too....
I’m thinking it’s just about time to eat a big plate full of crow.... and order a 10x Toric.
I like my Nikon Monarch 7 10x42 binocular. The glass is quite good and the build quality is OK although I don't think it's as durable as higher level glass. I've been using it for a few years and for $400 it's been a good deal.
