I ordered a 223 SPS 9 twist that I hoped would shoot 75 Amax's but it didn't. So I ordered a #3 Brux 8 twist and sent it to Horizon Firearms to thread and chamber using a PT&G reamer I had made for this build, cut at 22" with an 11 degree crown. It was a bit heavy so I sent it to Kampfeld for the spiral fluting and it's about perfect now, the fluting runs through the REM 223 stamp. It shoots 75 Amax's very well and that is pretty much all I shoot. The stock is a First Gen Ti SAUM that I bought off the 'fire and it has a small, about 1" crack in the side of the buttstock.

This like several of the other 700's I had re-barreled and sold it is a work in progress, I bead blasted the barrel in preparation for Cerakote, it's not perfect but it's a shooter.

I think it's safe to say less than 500 rounds through the barrel.
