Whitetail shot at 650 yards from sitting position using bipod for rest to get above yuccas. 7mm Remington with 4-14 SHV F1, with 180 ELD-M. Herd clipped but only needed one. Bullet entered left front shoulder and quartered back into lungs. My best ever long range sitting shot on big game. Deer never moved. Summer time steel shooting does pay off.


Mule deer buck shot at 380 yards from prone using backpack. 7mm Remington with 180 ELD-M. Bullet hit rib, fragmented and did not reach opposite side. Deer died instantly though.
