Has anyone used the Hornady GMX 125gr in the 06 and what powders worked with it. I have used all the heavier weights, but as I get older, the lighter weights and perceived recoil seem interesting. I am probably going to start with Varget for all the obvious reasons including temp stability.
If you have any H380 laying around give it a try. I stumbled across the most accurate load i have ever fired in a 30-06 using 56.5 H380, CCI magnum primers and 125gr Nosler BT. Mild recoil compared to the 165's.
