Yes I tried it and have the reamer made by PT & G. As for their reamers my friend Dan (who shoots 1000 yd BR )and I have 18 reamers between us. I have used my 6mm-284 5 times and we used his 257 reamer 8 times. The others have been used once and all cut very cleanly. We do our own machining. I am very happy with the results I get with these reamers. Sure there have been some delays in recieving a special order but they never got any details wrong EVER.

I am willing to sell you the 338-375 Ruger reamer for $100 plus shipping. Let me know with a PM if you are interested.

I played around with 300 gr bergers and got the crap kicked out of me 8.25 lb rifle. Guess I am getting too old to deal with that kind of recoil. I am closer to 70 than 60 and guess it was going to happen.

Some notes 24" 338 win mag take off set back and rethreaded for model 70. Length 23 1/2"

Tried RL-17 with 300 gr Berger match target hybrid. Started with 70 gr 2620 fps.. Nosler 340 load data (similar case capacity) seems a bit hotter in the 338/375 Ruger with RL-17 when substituted for H4350 data;
Used max OAL to fit and feed from magazine

70 gr RL-17 300 gr Berger 2620
71 gr RL-17 showed pressure with a bit of bolt lift/extractor mark

225 accubonds using deeper seating so 180s would fit better. Used 80-84 gr of RL-22 with 225s
225 accubonds using deeper seating for 180s Used 80-84 gr of RL-22
***84 repeated with 225 accubond velocity 3056 fps most accurate load with 225s 8-21-2017
85 gr 3072 slight extractor marks
86 gr 3118 a bit more pressure than 85 gr

180 nosler ballistic tips (discontinued)
338/375 RL-17 180 nbt
**79 gr 3250 very accurate
83 gr 3388 on edge of too warm slight extractor marks

Tried 73-76 gr of RL-17 with 225 accubond 8-23-2017
73 2866
74 2927
75 2938
76 3001 fps poor accuracy compared to RL-22
