Roy270: Caused a bit of a scare here but I checked 4 of my 6 pre-64 Model 70's in caliber 264 Winchester Magnum and none of those 4 (Featherweights and Standards!) had any visible/discernible bulges!
The other 2 are in "pretty deep" and I will check them next time I get in there that deep - plus in all my years of trading pre-64 Model 70's I have never heard of this affliction?
Thanks for the heads up - I will keep an eye out for this from now on.
