After Having accuracy issues with my remington 700 7mm08 im wanting to make sure the stock torq is correct. Ive herd a range from 40 in/lb to 55in/lb but want to do it right, currently its set at 42in/lb. Its a factory SPS Cheapo stock on rem 700 with aluminum bottom metal. What is right?
I also picked up a cheap TC Compass .308 at a too good to be true price and noticed the bolts in it where just barely finger tight and would like to torq it,Any idea where i should start on it? Thanks
I always heard 35-40lbs.
