It is hard to get a smoother action, but the design is still not the strongest.

Modern metallurgy is probably better than the originals, but I would personally stick with cowboy loads in the 60,66,73, and 76 rifles.

Aside from being a neat looking rifle, or just feeling the need to collect one, most folks are better off with a 92.
