I have owned more than a dozen Model 1s and still have half that many. There is little to dislike about them (trigger maybe - but they can be very good) as I have never had one that was not accurate. It is customary with a high end custom build to replace the barrel as part of the process - especially on a rifle from 1950. When I decided to do a custom Model 1, I kept the factory barrel because it was in great condition and so stinking accurate that I realized it would be a gamble to improve upon it. I also like the factory sights as a back-up to my scope. Brno got this one right and I say that because of the minor changes that have been made over the years through the Model 2, 5 and CZ 452 series.
