Hey guys, thinking of doing a archery hunt in Montana, dillon area or the big belts. Does anyone have any experience in these areas during bow season? I heard Dillon has alot of elk but has alot of gun and road hunters so wondering how it is during Sept bow season. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I bow hunted for several years south of Dillon for elk, but finally quit going. Between the pine beetles and the wolves, I'd look elsewhere, unless you can get on private down lower.
