what else would you like to know. the barrels, bores, chambers and chokes could be measured by a gunsmith with the proper tooling. it could also be evaluate as to being on face and lockup. .hopefully no one has "improved it" by lengthening the chambers or shortening the barrels.
if it gets a clean bill of health and you want to restore it to the dignity it deserves, RST makes shells that would work at lower pressure, and you can shoot it.
I like the old shotguns and L.C. Smith's in particular, they are like real estate, they don't make any more. field grades were "farmer" guns and were usually looked at as needed tools. to have one in good condition is a blessing.
