They are a well made rifle. I have a couple of lefties and really like them. As mentioned they are a.push feed action. The action itself is very slick and they were fitted with adjustable single or the optional twin set triggers.

Despite the Mauser markings the rifle is made by Heym. When they were not so well known outside of Europe, Heym had a marketing deal with Mauser. The rifles are based on the equivalent Heym SR 20 and 30 models (=Mauser 2000 & 3000). In Mauser trim they were stocked for the American market with Weatherby style stocks and alloy bottom metal. Heym models had steel bottom metal, German open sights and Euro style stocks. The interesting thing is the barrels have a 98 Mauser thread which is handy if you need a replacement.

If it's in good condition you'll have a decent outfit.
