Is that sort of like, you have to pass the bill in order to see what's in it? mad

As frustrated as the liberal left is that they haven't been able to get any "meaningful" gun control passed during the past decade, I am getting frustrated that every single time there is some sort of crisis involving a firearm, we have to go through this bulls#$t.

It's the same song and dance each time. Someone shoots up a bunch of people somewhere. Que the NRA haters. Que the media. Que the bleeding heart, liberal politicians, and now, even many of the Republicans, demanding something be done. "If we can save just one life..." Well I'm tired of it. Sick and fugging tired of hearing it.

We keep hearing the same arguments from both sides, which we all know by heart. Frankly, there isn't an argument. Period. Though inevitably, some "compromise" will be reached, and yet another chip will be removed from what was once supposed to be our Second Amendment. The point being, we shouldn't need anything in return. There it is, in black in white, written by the very founders of this FREE nation, "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." We all know it by heart. We all say it. We all know the fundamental reasons behind it. But again, we will allow them to chip away at it once more. Sure, we will be enraged for a short while before finally accepting yet another minuscule defeat. Once again, we will draw yet another line in the sand, that we swear we wont cross.

Then another shooting... and the cycle will continue.

Death by a thousand cuts.
