In that case, the numbers lie all the time. I've seen variations from published factory ammo speeds of over 200 fps. That's with standard barrel length for cartridge as well. There is no such thing as apples to apples when you look at the numbers printed on the side of a box. A rifle might do it or it might not.

If we're dealing with strictly factory ammo here, the best bet is probably a pair of .270's but that would be awfully boring.
